So what kind of world do you want to live in?

While much of the world we live in is the result of accidents and chaos, there are also a lot of things that were intentional. The success of big companies like Amazon or Cocacola were not accidents, they were created and built over decades. Same thing applies to many of the musicians you might listen too, or the books you read.  Those experiences you have are the result of other people experimenting, over time, to make something. They were creating the world that you live in.

Are you like them, in that you also like to create things? Are you building a startup, or maybe trying to grow a portfolio of projects, working out exactly where to take it? Are you spending your time actively researching problems or inventing and testing solutions?

I also live for this process. I've worked at the White House, set up an A.I. lab for a billionaire, and spent years kicking around universities like Carnegie Mellon and MIT.
